TITANIUM: HIGH-TECH AND PERFECTION - FINELY TUNED

Our metal frames are crafted out of the purest titanium available. For some series, titanium fronts are combined with temples made from gFLEX, an epoxy material developed for space travel or a particularly flexible rubber material for extra comfort. PRODUCTION When it comes to titanium, you can say: technology and know-how are everything. The rough shape is milled from a 3.5 mm thick titanium sheet. The blank is given its definite shape with various pressing tools. This involves compressing the material with 200-300 tons of pressure to give the eyeglasses the necessary stability. Multiple pressing and punching tools are manufactured for the production of each model. Taking into account the individual sections of a pair of eyeglass frames, some areas that must be hard are compressed more powerfully than others that need to remain flexible. This means that even very small pieces can be made which, nevertheless, do not lack stability. A pair of götti glasses goes through 200 to 250 work steps during the production in Japan, most of which are carried out by hand.
