How was Götti born?
I studied to become an optician and then
travelled abroad to see what others were
doing in this business. Once I came back to
Switzerland I opened my own store in Luzern.
I thought my direct experience was the best
way to understand how the Götti brand
should develop. Later I made a small horn
collection. I still had a lot to learn as designing
eyewear was not my job. That is how I learn a
new craft. Afterwards I made the acetate and
titanium collection. That was the beginning of
Götti.
